Fundraising to help support the Redbourn Community

Redbourn CFRs is raising money for East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust Charitable Fund
Working with the East of England Ambulance Service, the charity supports local ambulance stations and other healthcare initiatives. The charity also serves the Community First Responder (CFR) groups in east of England region. Local CFR volunteers are trained in first on scene lifesaving skills.

Story

Community first responders are a charity organisation that operates on behalf of the East of England Ambulance Service. We are deployed to the most time critical emergencies in Redbourn village, arriving before the ambulance crew to start life saving intervention in the first vital minutes of the emergency.

In addition we attend non-injury falls calls, getting patients up off the floor quickly and discharging them on scene without attendance from the ambulance service. This helps prevent issues from long lies and other complications caused from being on the floor too long.

Redbourn CFRS have to raise our own funds to purchase life saving kit, uniform and training equipment to help us provide this care in the community.

We are asking for your kind generosity to do this— a donation today will help us save lives right here in Redbourn.

Thank you for supporting us — We are proud to serve our community!
