Hiking 500 Miles Around Britain

Weston Hospicecare provides expert end-of-life care, free of charge, to people with life-limiting illnesses. Our goal is people can live as well as they can, for as long as they can; we help them feel like family and friends again, not just patients and carers.

Story

Thanks so much for checking out this page - I'll be hiking 500 miles around Britain during a 5-week road trip to raise money for Weston Hospicecare, an amazing local charity!

Weston Hospicecare gives palliative care to local people with life-limiting illnesses, all completely free of charge. They have given wonderful support to so many local people during times they've needed it most, including several people close to me and my family.

However, the charity is funded almost entirely by public donations, which is why I've decided to set up this fundraiser and help Weston Hospicecare keep providing the fantastic care they give to so many.

I'll be travelling all over Britain for around five and a half weeks, hiking by day and camping by night (driving between locations), to walk a total of over 500 miles. Weather permitting, I'll be climbing the Three Peaks (Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis) as well as many of the other highest mountains in Britain. This will be a really intense physical and mental challenge, so I'm really hoping to raise lots of money to support the wonderful Weston Hospicecare to make it all worth it!
