We provide support to people and their families in the UK who have Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (chromosome 22q13.3 deletion). This support is provided through information, therapies and financial grants, and by organising family days and get-togethers. Thank you for supporting PMSF UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our team will be participating in 'wobbly Mobberley' on Saturday 7th June in an aim to raise funds for Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS) and have some fun with the team.

Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS) is a rare genetic disorder that affects, speech, mobility, and cognitive development. There are almost 400 people who are diagnosed with PMS in the UK & Ireland, and about 4000 registered worldwide. Many medical professionals are unfamiliar with the syndrome, and its underdiagnosed.

Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation UK (PMSF UK) is a UK registered charity. PMSF UK provides support for those who have PMS , their families and communities through regional get togethers, online medical information, access to research opportunities and some limited financial awards. Support is critical when you are caring for someone with the syndrome.
