In aid of the Kenya Trust - Regent Hall Christmas Carol Concert

Regent Hall of The Salvation Army is raising money for The Kenya Trust
The Kenya Trust is a charity registered in England 1105495 with the sole aim of supporting the work of The Salvation Army in Kenya. Improving conditions at Salvation Army schools, hostels and community centres and supporting the development of music ministry within The Salvation Army in Kenya.

Story

During our Christmas Carol Concert we are raising money in aid of the Kenya Trust and specifically for The Kabucai Special Primary School for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired, a rural school catering for 100 boarding students in the west of Kenya.

The Kabucai Special Primary School for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired requires the following items for the new girls dormitory and refurbished classroom:

30 sets of bunk beds at £30 per set

60 mattresses at £20 each

These items are for the new girls dormitory funded by The Kenya Trust which opened three weeks ago.

The expectation is that the beds will be made at The Salvation Army's workshops in Chombeli. These workshops train young people from poor backgrounds in a trade so that they can eventually find work.
