Story
Squirrels are the very youngest of our local Scout group - they are aged 3 to 6 years old and a real fun bunch!
The money raised with this challenge goes towards building and maintaining with the Squirrels a small vegetable, flower and herb garden outside our Scout hut. Gardening is a great way to be outside, connect to nature as well as understand the world we life in and our impact in it. Growing native plants also provides important spaces for the buzzing wildlife.
We have set ourselves the challenge to swim between us the total of 45km (28 miles) over the two months March & April. This is like swimming from the Seawall in Pennington to Old Harry Rocks on Studland Bay. We chose swimming as it is an important life skill and it is something we enjoy doing together - all very much in the Scout spirit :)
Any extra money raised will go towards other projects to enhance the outdoor space of our Scout hut.
Thank you for any support,
Psyia (Squirrel helper) - Boon (Scout) - Louana (just here to swim) - Regula (Group trustee)
