The Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bikes Service (LEBBS) is all about saving lives. From April 2013 the service has provided a free courier service transporting essential medical items – including blood, plasma, platelets, biological samples, x-rays, medical notes and breast milk – between hospitals and healthcare facilities within Lincolnshire. The volunteers also take part in ‘relay runs’ assisting other blood bike services around the country to transport essential medical items through Lincolnshire and beyond.

Emergency blood bike charities are a beacon of hope in our communities, providing an invaluable service.

One of our colleagues volunteers for this service outside of his normal working hours, we are delighted to be able to support him and this organisation through our 2025 fundraising activities.
