David loved nature - long walks in woodland, coastal paths and rolling hills. Growing up in the Peak District his passion for wildlife was always evident. A Plant Scientist - he often talked to family, friends and strangers or at work with colleagues about his love for the natural world. On daily walks with his dog, Issy, he would admire nature and what it has to teach us about life.

David loved to find wonderful peaceful places. He loved to swim in the sea and admire the trees, flowers and animals all around us.
