This page is for donations in memory of Dick Harris, who sadly passed away on 5 August.

Dick worked hard in paid and unpaid roles with a range of disability charities throughout his life. His own life was an excellent example of how disabled people can live independent and fulfilling lives, and he will be missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

Action For Children is the modern name for the National Children’s Home, and Dick lived in one of their homes from a week old till the age of 16.

Action For Children continues to support children and young people to have a safe and happy childhood.
