Our amazing mum and wife, Jane developed the condition polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) in her 60s - it is an under-diagnosed and poorly understood condition, and can also be very painful.

Jane did a tremendous amount of reading on the topic, and experimented with ways to alleviate her symptoms. She became very adept at controlling her flare-ups and gave a great deal of advice to other sufferers of PMR.

Mum was incredibly passionate about PMRGCAuk and did everything she could to help others. We know she would be happy for her legacy to continue helping fellow PMR sufferers, so request that any donations in her memory go to PMRGCAuk - a small but important charity working to support those living with PMR in the UK.
