Story
In memory of Sue Winter's life, we are raising money to a charity that was near and dear to her. During her life, my aunt made an impact on so many people, both through her work but also in her personal life, with her compassionate and incredibly kind soul. Although she is no longer with us, we want to carry on her kindness in a way that she would have loved.
Changing Faces is the UK's leading charity for everyone who has a mark, scar or condition that makes them look different. Being different in a society where there is such pressure to look a certain way is tough. For over 25 years they have been providing advice and support, challenging discrimination, and campaigning for a world that respects difference.
They want a future where everyone with a visible difference on their face or body has the confidence, support and opportunity to lead the lives they want.
Whether you're able to donate a large amount, or none at all, if there is one thing to carry with you to pay tribute to Sue's life, please do this one thing - be kind to yourself, in every step of life and everything you do. Compassion, always.
