In early December, Adam Smith and myself tragically lost our eldest brother Christian. He was the greatest brother, son, nephew, cousin you could ever wish for and a dear friend to so many people - people he cherished for the whole of his life. Chris was a hero and an inspiration.

Chris was the kindest, most generous and honest person. Always caring for others throughout the struggles of his own day to day life. He enrolled in theatre classes, drama sessions, independent plays and even small budget films. He was reaching his life’s dream.

if you knew Chris, you will need no explanation to the kindness and giving nature that he possessed but for those who didn't; Christian was 46 years old. He grew up in St Asaph, went to Denbigh High School and enjoyed many hobbies through his life including Football, American Football, socialising, cinema and music He was the biggest Manchester United fan we’d ever known. Never missing a game on TV. Through his life, Chris endured difficulties with mental health which meant his dream of watching a live match in person could never be a reality for him.

I will be taking a walk for/with Chris from Denbigh to Manchester United's ground 'Old Trafford' by walking from his home in Denbigh and arriving at Old Trafford and entering the ground 2 days later to his beloved United before laying Chris to rest in St Asaph.

I will be raising money for MIND Vale of Clwyd who do fantastic work with mental health sufferers close to home.
