I volunteer as a controller for SERVSC. I have a huge amount of respect for the service our responders provide, giving generously of their time, even paying their own fuel costs. SERVSC does so much more than moving blood products to where they are needed; we move urgent samples, human donor milk, equipment in the community, and medication to cancer patients to name but a few.

I’m also a passionate runner, having spent over 10 years using a wheelchair. I want to run Cambridge Half-Marathon to raise as much money as I can for SERVSC who get no Government funding and provide a vital service to local hospitals and the community.
