Go Aloft! is a unique team fundraising experience at SS Great Britain, where brave colleagues take on an 80 foot rig climb on Brunel’s iconic ship.

The Renishaw team is: David Hurst, Oliver Warner, Carys Woolley, Oliver Murdock, James Healey, William Baldwin, Hester Greenfield, Leah Sims.

Working in pairs, the team will climb the historic rigging, guided by trained instructors, and experience firsthand what life was like for Victorian sailors – this time with modern safety equipment in place.

Renishaw is taking part in the challenge to help raise vital funds for the reimagined Dockyard Museum, supporting greater access for Bristol communities.
