The existing wooden bench on Station Bank is rotten. We're going to replace it with a recycled plastic bench. These are sturdy and come with a 25 year guarantee.

The bench was installed at the request of Terry Kelly, a local resident who wanted to have something to remember those who fell during, and those who endured World War 1. It is Terry that lays the wreath there every year.

The bench is there for those to take some time to remember those who came before us. It is also much appreciated by those wanting a rest while climbing Station Bank!
