On Blue Monday, 20th January, ResourceBank will be participating in a virtual Trek to base camp then from base camp to the summit of Mount Everest. This exciting challenge is in support of an incredible charity, UWS.

This is our fourth year for ResourceBank’s Blue Monday event (following rowing in 2022 and cycling in 2023 and walking 228 miles in 2024).

UWS works to ensure children have access to quality, inclusive education in remote and marginalised communities by collaborating with local partners, communities and governments.

UWS deliver schools, they train teachers and strengthen education systems. Low-cost, high impact model builds capacity, not dependency.

This ensures that education systems continue to flourish beyond our involvement.Shifting focus from delivering change in the short term, to empowering change for the long term, we go beyond educating the future, to changing it.

ResourceBank also played a key role in funding the construction of a school through UWS, which stands as a notable achievement on its own.
