Hi, I'm Reuben and thanks for coming. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. Last summer, my dad had a cardiac arrest while playing his regular game of football. Thankfully, three people that play with him knew and performed CPR and shocked him twice with a defibrillator. They saved his life. We are so so lucky.
This clearly shows the massive importance of knowing CPR. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. Learning CPR is quick and easy thanks to the RevivR training course. (only takes 15 minutes!)
So on the Mayday bank holiday weekend (4th and 5th of May) I am going to run a half marathon each day.
