Story
On the 1st June, 2021, I was hospitalised with Type-1 Diabetes
Now, exactly 5 years later, I will be running the Great Manchester Half Marathon, on the 31st May, 2026, with my girlfriend, Natalia.
I will be running for Diabetes UK, the leading charity for diabetic support, research, and education, contributing to a lasting impact for the millions of people living with the disease in the UK.
Type-1 diabetes is a chronic health condition that can be entirely all encompassing. It takes a toll over your physical health, mental health, social life, ability to eat, exercise, concentrate, and much more. The support Diabetes UK provides makes such a meaningful impact. It's education and research is first-class, and the network of supportive communities it fosters is such a big help for diabetics throughout the country.
Running this half marathon is such a huge achievement for Natalia, and I. We really appreciate all the support we receive, and any donations you could give genuinely means the world to us.
Thank you for reading this and joining us on our journey
