Story
On 1st September Victoria led a group of amazing ladies from her yoga and fitness studio in a challenge to run 5k everyday in September. This group of 12 women rose to the challenge and collectively raised over £15k for clatterbridge cancer charity.
Victoria then decided to continue with the challenge and is running 5k everyday for 100 days hoping to increase the amount raised to £20k.
Then one night on day 65 Victoria was challenged to run a marathon on day 100, this didn’t make sense in her mind and so she decided that running 10 x 5km runs on that day would be a better idea. So on 9th dec she will end her 100 day challenge with 10 x 5km runs. These runs will take place along Hoylake promenade starting at 6.30 and will be every 75mins
We are so fortunate to have Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital right on our doorstep, providing vital care and hope to so many, including Victoria’s husband neil who is currently receiving immunotherapy at clatterbridge.
Immunotherapy is a relatively new cancer treatment and clatterbridge have played a great role in the development of these fantastic new treatments. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement makes a difference. Let’s come together as a community and show our support for this incredible cause!
