Skydive · 26 April 2026

We assist the “Homeless” and others on the pavement / Shelters of Glasgow who are in need of assistance. We patrol the streets every Wednesday night, providing a variety of assistance to customers. 5 nights a week we also collected food waste as retail stores close & delivering to shelters

Story

On the 26th of April, my brother Scott and I will be voluntarily launching ourselves out of a perfectly good aeroplane at 10,000 feet. Yes, you read that right. A *working* aeroplane. With a door. And seats. And absolutely no need to jump out of it.

For someone with a fear of heights, this is… well, let’s call it “character‑building.” I’m the same guy who bottled it on the 15‑metre free fall at XSite, so the idea of plummeting towards Earth from 10,000 feet is, frankly, ridiculous. Yet here we are.

We’re doing this to raise funds for **Renfrewshire Food Giveaway**, who deliver food parcels to struggling local households on Christmas Eve. It’s going to be another tough Christmas for many families, and these parcels genuinely make a huge difference. If jumping out of a plane helps put food on someone’s table, then I suppose my terror is a small price to pay.

This skydive has already been postponed twice due to aircraft and weather issues. At this point, I’m starting to think the universe is trying to protect me. But we’re determined to get it done before the plane finds another excuse.

A massive thank‑you to everyone who’s already donated—we’re not asking anyone to donate twice. But if you haven’t chipped in yet and fancy supporting a good cause *and* watching me question all my life choices, any amount would be hugely appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is quick, easy, and secure. They send your donation straight to the charity, which means more help for families who really need it.

Thanks so much for your support—and wish me luck. I’ll need it.
