I am running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for Greenfingers Charity, a national charity dedicated to creating magical, therapeutic gardens for life-limited children and their families and carers to improve their time spent in hospices across the UK.

Whilst many people may take for granted the simple pleasure of being able to enjoy a garden, for these children and their families, the chance to spend time together outdoors and away from the bedside is precious.

From the money we raise they will be able to create beautiful, well-designed outdoor spaces, allowing children with life-limiting medical conditions to enjoy these spaces with their family, friends and siblings, whether through play and fun, or therapeutic rest and relaxation.
