Story
I’m running this half marathon in memory of my nephew, Hunter, who was born asleep.
Hunter never got the chance to take his first steps, but through this run I’ll be taking every step for him — to honor his life, however short, and to make sure he is always remembered.
I’m raising money for Forever Stars, a charity that supports families through the heartbreak of baby loss and provides vital bereavement suites in hospitals, offering comfort, dignity and compassion at the most devastating times. Their work means that no family has to face loss alone.
This run is for Hunter, for our family, and for every baby gone too soon.
