Cancer has touched the lives of people I love deeply, and I know I’m not alone. Too many families face the fear, uncertainty, and pain that comes with a diagnosis and too many lives are lost far too soon.

This cause is close to myself and my dad’s hearts, and we want to do what we can to fight back. We are raising funds to support two incredible causes that support people affected by cancer:

• Labels for Cares – Founded in 2016 after one of its founding members successfully battled cancer, CARES began with a mission to improve cancer survival rates in East Lancashire by encouraging early screening and faster diagnosis.

• Burnley Leisure & Culture – helping people recover and rebuild their lives during and after cancer treatment through a range of health and wellbeing programmes and community support initiatives.
