Story
I'm running over 30 inflatable objects on July 11th to support Hampshire child bereavement charity Simon Says. Although I hope it's going to be fun - it will also be tough and I hope you'll help me raise much-needed funds for this local charity close to my family's heart.
For 25 years, Simon Says has been here for children and young people across Hampshire who have had someone close to them die, helping them to understand their grief, talk openly, and begin to grow around their grief with hope.
Every pound you donate helps children who are facing some of the hardest days of their lives.
When a parent, sibling or close friend dies, a child’s whole world can change overnight. They may feel frightened, angry, or completely alone, and often don’t know how to talk about what’s happened. Parents and carers are grieving too, and sometimes can’t find the words. That’s where Simon Says steps in.
With your help, we can continue to offer safe spaces where children can share, heal and find hope together.
Behind every story of hope is someone like you.
Your fundraising ensures no child in Hampshire has to face the death of someone they love alone.
Help us continue to give grief a voice and hope a future.
