Story

Welp, I'm back again! Yes, I am doing the London Marathon a 2nd time. I was lucky enough (or unlucky) to get a place in the disability ballot so we're back for round 2.

Recap on 2025:

By now you may have watched my video explaining how that whole week and day went down but to sum up: Sun? Blaring. Me? Nauseous. Friends and family? Amazing. It took me 8:07:02 to complete a marathon and my official chip time was 08:43:30. Now, it doesn't take a genius to work out that that is a very very long day. The heat and my fuelling plan flying out the window left me struggling and I didn't finish on The Mall. But this year, that changes...

I am so ready to hit this better than ever before and resolve this unfinished business. The training will be better. The mental resolve will be stronger. The fuelling will be tasty. I have never been so ready to get out there and prove what I have better than ever.

And, of course, it wouldn't be me without a little fundraising along the way. This year we're back on the JustGiving so that I can share the support this year with another charity that means a lot to me.

Scoliosis Support and Research raise awareness, provide support and fund research for scoliosis and spinal conditions in the UK. I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 15 years old after back pain and spotting a misalignment in my spine. I have an S shaped curve and was offered surgery if I wanted to take it. I have opted against surgery currently but this is still on the table if my back worsens. My scoliosis affects me on a weekly basis but I refuse to ever let it hold me back. I will climb mountains, trek deserts and run marathons if I want to for as long as I can.

So there is my crazy tale and the wonderful charities that mean the most to me. I have set up two pages for the charities and would love to keep them as even as possible. Please donate what you can and please share my page too. Thank you!
