I am a Trustee for the Lochalsh Leisure Centre and we are trying to raise enough funds to get us over the last hurdle to reopening after the electrical fire back in January.

I learnt to swim in this pool, had so many birthday parties, first dates aand social hangouts growing up in that pool, did my first Eskimo Role in a kayak and have taught others to the same in there, I've eased various injuries in there and I want this facility to be there for generations to come, for my niece and nephew to learn to swim and so many others!

It's such a vital part of a community such as ours, so closely entwined with the water.

I am taking part in the K2K swim for the first time as a Swimmer and not in a kayak this year. Every penny you can spare goes a huge way to helping us reopen this incredible facility. Thanks so much in advance!
