Rhiannon, Clint, Matty, Jasmin and Dan's fundraiser for Sam's Superheroes Foundation

Rhiannon Jones is raising money for Sam's Superheroes Foundation
In memory of Sam Liew

Sam’s 55 mile Scootathon

We are the UK’s only charity focused on improving outcomes for people affected by catastrophic epilepsies - NORSE and FIRES. They cause non-stop seizures in healthy children and adults that are difficult, and often impossible to stop. We fund vital research, raise awareness, and support families.

Story

On 19th and 20th September, Dan, Matty and Jasmin will be kick scooting, and Clint and I will be cycling, from Aston University in Birmingham to Mickleover in Derby — via Lichfield! 🛴

Sam absolutely loved riding his little red scooter, so it seems like the perfect way to take on this challenge and raise money for Sam’s Superheroes Foundation. ❤️

Two years ago, we completed the same challenge over three days. This time, we’re taking it on over just two days — so it’s definitely going to be a tough two days! 💪

We’re doing this in memory of Sam, our much loved nephew and cousin and in memory of so many other children and adults whose lives have been tragically lost to FIRES or NORSE.

We’re also raising money for Sam’s Superheroes Foundation, who support families devastated by FIRES across the country and are funding ground breaking research in partnership with the Epilepsy Research Institute and neurologists from Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us support families and fund vital research into these devastating conditions.

Please support us if you can — Sam’s little red scooter will be with us every step of the way. ❤️🛴

Thank you so much for your support. ❤️

Much love

Sam's Auntie Rhi-Rhi ❤️ xx
