Smileforjoel is a local charity that provides national support to families affected by murder. The charity support families in their darkest days by providing short break holidays and experiences.

Joel was one of my friends from our very first day of secondary school, and I can still see him now with that cheeky smile, urging me on and saying, “just go on, do it!” He had such a big heart and a way of lifting everyone around him.

This fundraiser is in his memory, and it will all be with Joel in mind. Any funds raised will go towards Smile for Joel, a charity set up by Joel’s family after the devastating Tunisia terrorist attack in 2015. The charity supports families who have lost loved ones through murder and terrorism, offering practical help, emotional support, and vital respite when it’s needed most. I know Joel would be so proud to see the love and support being shared in his name.
