Story
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide.
Someone in the UK dies by suicide every 90 minutes. That’s 125 people per week, every week.
And every 3 minutes someone in the UK attempts suicide.
Suicide is now the leading cause of death for 15-39 year olds in the UK.
And 1 in 5 of us will have suicidal thoughts.
CALM exists to change these unacceptable numbers by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably.
From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day. No matter what.
I’ve worked at CALM for five years and I am so proud to work for such an incredible organisation that does such impactful, life saving work.
If you’re able to sponsor me undertaking 62 miles in March I would be so grateful.
