This year I am taking part in the Savills Manchester charity fundraising walk to raise money for Rainbow Trust, a charity who provide vital support to families who have a child with life threatening or terminal illness. The work they do is invaluable and after hearing families first-hand about the help they have received, I couldn't want to support them more.

What's the challenge?

The Savills Manchester office will be embarking on a lengthy 18 mile walk on Thursday 17th September all the way to Marsden. The walk will take us approx. 5-6 hours to complete, so we are praying for sunshine!

Our team aim is to raise as much money as possible for Rainbow Trust who support families in Greater Manchester and the rest of the UK.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, for as long as is needed. Rainbow Trust supports the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
