Story
Megan's British 3 Peaks Challenge for Cancer Research UK
On 20th June, I will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland within 24 hours.
My name is Megan Tapp, and I'm a 12-year-old girl from Wales. I wanted to take on this challenge to prove to myself that I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it, even when it's difficult.
I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK because cancer has affected people close to my family. Sadly, my dad's friend's wife, Sophie, passed away last year, and my dad's auntie DeeDee recently passed away as well. Although we can't change what happened to them, we can help support research that could save lives in the future and spare other families from experiencing the same heartbreak.
I know this challenge will be tough, and there will be times when I'm tired and struggling. But when that happens, I'll keep going, because there are people out there facing much bigger battles every day. Research gives hope, and every donation can help make a difference.
Please support me if you can. Any donation, big or small, will help fund vital cancer research and bring us closer to a world where more people survive cancer.
Thank you for your support! ❤️
