I am swimming as part of a team of 6 swimmers who will swim continuously for 24 hours. Yes, even through the night! My one hour timeslots are 4 pm, 10 pm, 4 am and 10 am and we're all doing it without wetsuits in what could be 12 - 14°C.

I can take part in this madness as I was taught to swim as a child but not everyone can do this easily and so I'm raising money so children with disabilities can enjoy the water as much as I do.
