As some of you may know, our brother Rhuey, back in April was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The resilience and strength he has shown thus far has been admirable and has inspired us to embark on a fundraising mission close to his heart.

On Saturday 7th October we will be walking the Edale Skyline (20 miles!) in the Peak District in aid of Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust! ACT is a cause also close to the heart of us boys as they have provided outstanding support to close family members so we are delighted to be partaking in this.

In Rhuey’s own words “They have looked after me incredibly well over this period - Everything from the information given regarding the support I can receive, how warm and helpful the staff have been on all my various visits ranging from consultations to Chemo sessions. A special mention to four people from the team who have been amazing - Professor George Follows, Specialist Nurse Sarah Behan, Doctor Ingo Ringhausn & Doctor Anna Santasieri”.

With the incredible work from Addenbrooke’s since Rhuey’s diagnosis, he received excellent news in June that his cancer cells had reduced after initially being on BEACOPDac treatment - the most intensive chemotherapy available.
