Rhyann's London Marathon Run for Riders Minds

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
So this year I’m running the London Marathon, a race that has been on my bucket list for years. Those who know me will know that running has always been a big part of my life, as have horses. That’s part of the reason I’ve chosen to raise money for Riders Minds.
Riders Minds is a charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and well being of all equestrians at all abilities. They operate a free helpline 24/7.
This charity is close to my heart as a keen equestrian and someone who has suffered with mental health issues throughout my life
From around the age of 9 I started to suffering with anxiety, which followed with bouts of depression throughout my teenage years and into my 20’s. It manifested in many different ways including self harm, and eating disorders
Thankfully I’m still here today and I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to do such an iconic race.
I’d like young people and anyone suffering with mental health issues to know there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and your life is precious. The trained staff at Riders Minds are there to listen and provide perspective.
I was originally aiming to do the London Marathon in less than 4 hours but last year I got injured and had to defer my place to 2025. It’s been a physical and mental struggle but I’m back and hoping to do sub 4.5 hours.
Myself and Riders Minds would be so grateful if you could donate and help others who are suffering and looking to be heard. Follow my progress as I continue my training plan and count down to April 27th 2025!
