Story
Six months ago, my family received the heartbreaking news that my grandad was diagnosed with Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD), a rare and progressive neurological condition.
Watching someone you love face such a cruel disease is incredibly difficult, and it has inspired me to do something that can make a difference for others affected.
On 19th September, I'll be taking on a 24-hour cycling challenge at C&J Vision Gym, Burrington Way to raise money for the PSPA (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association). The charity provides vital support to people living with CBD, PSP and related conditions, as well as their families, while also funding research into better treatments and, one day, a cure.
This challenge will test me both physically and mentally, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by those living with CBD.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help provide support, raise awareness, and fund essential research. If you're unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
