Story
As April is Autism awareness month, I thought it would be a great time to raise money for something that means a lot to me.
Bright sparks is a family centre for play provision for children with additional needs and their families. It’s always been a fantastic, safe place for us to take our son and is a vital place of support and community for children and parents of those with additional needs. They are a charity that relies on donation to provide these vital services, groups and support.
As part of this fundraiser I will be committing to dye my hair based on the amount of money raised. The goals and colours are as follows:
Red - £50
Blue - £100
Green - £150
Purple - £200
Yellow - £250
Pink - £300
If we manage to reach £400 I will also shave the infinity symbol, a symbol of acceptance within the Autism community, into the side of my head.
We will be taking the final total raised on Friday the 18th and will be dyeing my hair that day and will be posting the results shortly after.
I’ll also be applying for DHL’s match it programme where they will potentially match donations up to £600 so aim high!
Please give what you can and share this as well. Bright Sparks is a fantastic organisation that has helped our family, and many many others.
