Story
Rhys’s Story - I began running in 2021 after being medically diagnosed with Depression & Anxiety. For years prior I had been really struggling and didn’t know how to get through the mental struggles I had been dealing with. I had to make many life changes and find alternative ways to enjoy life again while also learning how to be self-disciplined. Running became a way of life and after seeing the progression over the space of a few months I realised just how important consistency is and how powerful changes are made through small daily choices and habits. As my running progressed and my resilience and strength developed I knew I wanted to put this new life skill to some use and so began my journey to learn how to run the London Marathon and find a Charity that I resonated with to help in what way I could and also bring some value and purpose to my running. Thank you Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice for bringing me on board.
