St Joseph's Hospice in Thornton, Merseyside, opened its doors in 1974 and has held a special place in the heart of our community ever since. Today, the hospice offers high-quality, professional end of life nursing care and family support services within a peaceful woodland environment.

Story

Hey there 👋!

This year, I'm throwing myself headfirst out of my comfort zone and joining the St Joseph's Hospice team at their Strictly St Joseph's 2023 extravaganza - who'd have thought it?

I'm raising money for this amazing organisation for a couple of reasons. The first is simply because St Joseph's Hospice has been a pillar of our community for over 60 years, providing end-of-life care for our loved ones without fail.

The second reason is in memory of my grandad, Eric, who we sadly lost a couple of years ago to prostate Cancer. Thanks to the end-of-life support team, he could live his final days and weeks peacefully and comfortably. While we didn't engage with the hospice directly, I want to play a small part in helping other families during their most challenging times.

Tickets are also available for the live event, so if you'd like to watch me fall flat on my face in person, get in touch.
