On 8 June 2024, I will be joining a few hundred runners and 60 horses in Llanwrtyd Wells in Wales for a cross-country race called 'Man v Horse'. Can I run faster than at least one horse over roughly 40km? The challenge, simplicity, absurdity!

I am raising money for The Carbon Community, a charity located less than 10km away that's doing amazing nature-based work to accelerate carbon removal with breakthrough science.

They are a small organisation moving at speed (which is what I'm hoping to do) and all the money I raise goes directly to the charity. £1000 will support the work on 80 trees in the latest phase of their innovative research, which runs until 2025.
