Hi there!!

Those of you who know me personally, know that I am, at best a recreational runner, who enjoys a few short runs where work and family life allows, and I do not have the typical streamline physique of a runner!! I have, decided once again to undertake the biggest challenge, to run the 26.2 miles of the Virgin London Marathon 2026.

Why, you might ask would I put myself through this mental and physical challenge? For one reason only - the We Are All Making A Difference Charitable Trust!! I am in the privileged position of being able to raise as much money as I can for this incredible charity, who have zero overheads and all the money raised will go to the charity and the people who need it the most.

Through family and close friends, I have been lucky enough to be introduced to the amazing work and people behind this charity as well as meeting some of the incredible recipients of the money received! Seeing how the money raised really makes a difference is inspirational.

We Are All Making A Difference is a Midlands based charity that distributes funds raised regardless of race, colour and creed or age. What I would like to emphasise again is that every £1 (or £10/£100!!!!) that you donate, the whole £1 (£10/£100) goes directly to the people who need it, with no administrative costs taken. Every bit of money raised goes directly to the people in need!

The money you donate will go towards supporting causes such as fulfilling the dreams of terminally ill children with a trip to Disneyland or a visit to Lapland to meet Father Christmas, just as supporting the Special Olympics for disabled individuals as well as a number of regional projects. Seeing the affect donations have on families and beneficiaries is totally overwhelming and the inspiration and motivation for my challenge. It never fails to amaze me the amount of work the charity undertakes and the incredible people involved in it.

I would like to wholeheartedly thank you all for any donation in this difficult times. Any words given in support on this page will be looked upon and gratefully received. I will keep you updated on progress and look out for me on TV on the 26th April 2026.
