Story
I’m taking on the adidas Manchester Marathon on 19 April 2026 to support S6 Foodbank and help fight hunger in Sheffield.
This one means a lot to me-I’ve seen firsthand how food insecurity and crippling debt can devastate families and communities, and no one should have to deal with that.
S6 Foodbank does amazing work, helping people with essentials now while also supporting families and young people for the future. I’ll be doing the running (somehow), and they’ll be doing the real hard work—every donation helps make a genuine difference.
Thanks to Sports Direct, I’ve been given a place in the Manchester Marathon, along with a fresh pair of running shoes kindly provided by my amazing management team at Drakehouse, to help get me across the finish line.
With only four weeks to prepare, the pressure is on, but I enjoy a challenge. It’s a great opportunity for me to achieve a personal goal of mine-running my first marathon, while also raising money for a good cause.
I’m aiming to raise £500, so anything you can give would be hugely appreciated. Every donation helps support people in Sheffield—and gives me one more reason not to quit halfway and start questioning all my life choices.
Thanks for your support, it genuinely makes a difference!
