Where men are, we are...Talk Club provide a global community of peer-to-peer talking groups, sports clubs and therapy that empowers men to maintain their mental fitness and ultimately prevent suicide. Let's start by asking ourselves and each other...How are you? Out of 10?

Story

Hi, I'm Rich, volunteer captain for Talk Club, St Albans.

Talk Club is a UK male mental fitness charity. In the UK, 76% of suicides are male and it's the no.1 cause of death for men under 50.

Talk Club seeks to change these statistics through a community of peer-to-peer conversations.

By donating to my fundraiser you're helping Talk Club to grow Talk & Listen, Talk & Exercise, and Talk Club Therapy groups.

These groups are safe and confidential spaces to encourage more men to open up and take charge of their mental health. This, in turn, saves lives.

We start every conversation with a simple "How are you, out of 10?" (it opens up a lot more than, "How are you?" and "Yeah, fine thanks"!).

I'm fortunate to have benefitted from Talk Club group therapy, and I now run our fortnightly Talk Club Talk & Listen conversations for men in St Albans.

So if you can spare a few quid to support this vital work, it would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you!

Rich
