Story

My wife was diagnosed over 15 years ago with RRMS and has gone through numerous treatments, from Tysabri to Ocrevus. The MS trust have always been there from day one of diagnosis 15 years ago and are still there throughout all relapses.

I have done numerous charity rugby matches over the years raising money for different charities and to mark the 15 year anniversary of my wife’s diagnosis of MS we decided the great north run was a great opportunity to give back to the work the MS Trust do and raise awareness of their work.

This will be the first half marathon I have ever done and I am proud to do it for my wife and MS Trust.

The MS trust has been vital over the last 15 years being there for my wife, and raising money will help them continue to be there for those that are just being diagnosed.

Please give any donations that you can.

Thank you

More information on MS Trust:

The MS Trust is committed to ensuring everyone with MS can access the treatments and services they need and deserve. We aim to represent and reach all people affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis throughout their journey. Your support will allow the MS Trust to continue to train health professionals. Approximately 103,688 people with MS live in areas where there are not enough MS nurses to look after everyone. So, The MS Trust are working with the NHS to fund new MS nurses in the areas that need them most and ensure people with MS have the care and support they need.
