Story

💙 Walking for Emmie-Rose – Supporting Daddy’s With Angels

Our family has faced a lot of loss in recent years, and it’s reminded us how important it is to spend time together while we can. We wanted to create something positive from that — a reason to get together, make memories, and help a cause close to our hearts.

For me, this is deeply personal. When I lost my daughter, Emmie-Rose, my world changed forever. Daddy’s With Angels were there for me at a time when I felt there was nowhere else to turn. They offered understanding, compassion, and a safe space to talk openly about grief.

Too often, there isn’t enough support for dads when a child dies. The world expects men to be “strong” and “hold it together,” but grief doesn’t work like that. Daddy’s With Angels gives fathers a place to be vulnerable, to share, and to find hope in the darkest moments.

Our first challenge as a family will be the Yorkshire Three Peaks — a 24-mile trek across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. We’ll be climbing over 5,000 feet in total, pushing ourselves physically and mentally in memory of Emmie-Rose and all the loved ones we’ve lost.

Every donation, big or small, will help make sure no dad has to face that journey alone. Thank you for your support. 💙
