Ford Ride London - Essex in memory of Colin Alan Bryant

RideLondon-Essex 100 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·
On January 18th, 2023 I lost my brother, Colin Alan Bryant.
He took his own life following a long battle with PTSD
it is vitally important that charities like mind are able to grow in order to support people like my brother to improve their mental health in order to avoid the tragedy that happened to my brother.
It is my goal to both raise money for Mind and awareness for mental health. There has, in the past been a huge stigma attached to mental health issues and I want to help reduce this stigma.
I have had my own mental health issues over the years, but am receiving support from Mind to help me through them. Mind, as a leading charity in mental health survives only through fundraising and donations, their work is as vital as any other life-saving health treatments- it really is about time we all realised that when mental health is poor, it can kill.
It killed my brother.
we need to start being kinder to one another and look after our mental health.
Mind is vital as a source for this help.
I am riding the 100 mile course in this years Ford Ride London-Essex in memory of my brother, in the hope that the funds it raises will go towards keeping someone else's
