We fund vital cancer research to save lives in Yorkshire

Story

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer in August 2021. I was treated with radiotherapy, 4 cycles of chemotherapy followed by surgery and I had a temporary stoma that was succesfully reversed last October. Following recent scans and blood tests I have been told that there is no evidence of cancer which myself and my family are very thankful for. I set myself a challenge to run my first half marathon to get back to fitness and I am proud to say I completed my challenge today in a respectable 2 hours and 9 minutes. I would like to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research for funding to continue improving treatments for cancer patients.
