On 8 July, I'll be taking on the minor challenge of abseiling 90 metres down the iconic Lloyd's Building in London to raise money for Give Us Time, a charity that supports military families.

This won't actually be my first time taking on this challenge. I completed the abseil last year and absolutely loved it. The experience was pure fun. Watching the faces of bemused workers inside added to the experience! So when the opportunity came up to do it again, I didn't hesitate to sign up.

This year, however, I'm hoping to make an even bigger impact by raising £1,000 for a cause close to my heart and which continues to make a real difference.

Give Us Time provides respite breaks and special experiences for military families who often face long periods of separation, frequent relocations, and the unique challenges that come with military life. These opportunities give families precious time together, helping them reconnect and create lasting memories. Any donation you make ensures that more families experience more breaks, supporting all members of the family and their relationships with each other.
