I am taking part in the Pen Llyn Ultra, a 75 mile walk/run effort on the North Wales coast. The description says it is beautifully brutal which is good to know. It is probably the hardest challenge I have done and raising funds and awareness is the main reason I am giving it a crack. Everyone is touched by cancer whether by a family member, a friend or having experienced it themselves and I know from attending meetings that we are so close to making cancer more manageable which will have a huge affect on society as a whole. £10 for example means a test tube can be purchased which could enable a new treatment to be found. I am not taking this challenge lightly but I will keep in mind why I am doing it and what it represents and your support will make a huge difference. Ultimately, I want to take the fear away from the C word. Thank you for your support from the bottom of my feet.
