I will be running the Cardiff 1/2 Marathon on October 4th for the DVLA's charity of choice for 2026 which is RSPCA.

Over the last ten years, you have raised an incredible £450,248 for twelve charities, which is something to be proud of.  This year (2026) we will be supporting Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).

Across England and Wales, we're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the UK's largest animal welfare charity. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many animals each year and campaign and educate to prevent animal cruelty. The RSPCA is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

For 200 years (and counting) the RSPCA has been here to rescue animals from cruelty and neglect and to speak up for millions more, to change laws, industries, attitudes and behaviour.

We believe that a world that’s better for animals is better for us all, and that every kind of person can make a difference.
