My peronal story

We are a group of men and women taking on the 3 biggest peaks in the uk BEN NEVIS , SCARFELL PIKE AND SNOWDONIA within 24 hours to raise vital funds for Miles for smiles so they can continue to do the amazing work they do in our local community by supporting people affected by life limiting or life changing circumstances and disabilities.

Not many people know my reasons for helping this charity so much but our son Oscar was rushed to Birminghams children hospital at 4 days old in 2024 for a operation of malrotation and volvulus to which was successful and he was home within 4 weeks but this was very stressful for us in a time we should of been enjoying our time as a family. 6 months later the same thing happened again which was a 1 in 999 chance it could happen. Again we were successful with getting our boy fit and home where he is now a very much typical whirlwind and causing havoc but we are so grateful to Birmingham children's hospital and will forever be in debt to them.

We crossed paths with so many families who aren't as lucky as us and thats why we love this charity giving these families a chance to enjoy time together and forget about the stress and hurt they deal with every day it may only seem small to most people like a day out to the zoo but to some families its not possible without the help from amazing charities like miles for smiles.

We are raising vital funds for Miles for smiles so they can continue to do the amazing work they do in our local community by supporting people affected by life limiting or life changing circumstances and disabilities .

every penny raised from your donations will 100% go directly to helping someone and not be swallowed up in staff wages or expenses , that's what makes this charity extra special .

All money raised will go to help MFS continue their family respite breaks with days out , weekend breaks weekly breaks for the families that need it the most they do that in the the UK but also abroad aswell . they'll be able to support with the purchases of specialised equipment to enhance the quality of so many Childrens life's , continue to support with intense physio and hydrotherapy sessions , group days out and also birthday and Christmas presents for the families and so on .
