Those who know me well, know I’m not that fit and not that athletic, a bit of a ginger “here you guys” kind of guy. But this wasn’t always the case, during the war I was a fit Sapper capable of doing some real life GI Joe stuff.

Over the last few years I’ve sadly lost loved ones and have dear friends battling cancer. We know all to well that it doesn’t matter who we speak to, we all know someone battling or lost the battle. There are always those glimmers of hope to when people overcome the odds, we have to hang on to those times.

So with this in mind, I’m now taking on the epic challenge to run the Addidas Manchester marathon (April 19th 2026) following the encouragement and support of a good mate who will run it with me, and actually signed me up without my full informed consent lol.

So, given the fact that I’m going to push my body to its limit one last time, I’m asking those that care about me to please please please dig in deep and donate to my page on behalf of cancer research. Love and respect to you all.
